Mental Health • Recovery • Resilience

A place to heal, recover, and become whole again.

Amethyst Recovery of Southwest Florida provides compassionate, trauma-informed support by telehealth only for individuals and families navigating mental health, substance use, emotional challenges, and life transitions.

✦

Compassion with purpose.

A nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward sustainable change.

Welcome

You don't have to navigate recovery alone.

At Amethyst Recovery, we believe people are more than their symptoms, diagnoses, mistakes, or circumstances. Therapy is a collaborative process: a place to understand what has shaped you, identify what is no longer serving you, and develop practical tools for the life you want to build.

Our work is grounded in empathy, accountability, strengths-based care, trauma-informed practice, and respect for each person's individual story and goals.

“Meaningful change occurs when people are met with empathy while also being gently challenged to grow.”

We recognize that mental health and substance use are influenced by relationships, trauma, family systems, community, access to resources, and other systemic factors. Treatment should honor the whole person—not just the problem that brought them through the door.

Two perspectives. One supportive experience.

Your therapy is provided by Sonia, with the benefit of an additional clinical perspective through supervision and case consultation with Brittany, as appropriate and consistent with confidentiality requirements. It means two clinical minds supporting the quality of your care: thoughtful support from your therapist, strengthened by the guidance and experience of a qualified supervisor. There is no separate supervision fee.

Clinical supervision supports Sonia's professional development, ethical practice, and quality of care. It does not mean Brittany is present in your sessions or is independently providing your therapy.
